Queensland Membership

To become a member of the Queensland Coeliac Society, simply complete the application form or contact the office to have an application form posted to you.

More than one coeliac in the family

If you have more than one coeliac in your immediate family (living at the same address) then you only need to pay for one membership per household. Please complete a separate form for each person diagnosed and we will put all of the details under the one membership.

Coeliac Society recipe book – a great basic recipe book that includes over 140 pages of everyday recipes
Ingredient list – enables you to buy products that are not labeled gluten free but are gluten free by ingredient. Don’t go grocery shopping without it
Member referred restaurant list – over 500 restaurants in Queensland that have been found by member to be gluten free friendly
Statewide area contacts – over 30 support groups actively operating throughout Queensland
Travel information – translation sheets and travel information for many overseas destinations
Resource centre – phone or drop into the office for assistance with gluten free lifestyle. Cookbooks, toastabags and bread tins available to purchase. All cookbooks sold below recommended retail price
Gluten free food display – covering breakfast through to dinner. A vast array of products on display
Gluten free shopping tours – book into a guided shopping tour through a supermarket. Very small groups are led through the supermarket shelves. Discover the wide range of products that are gluten free. A lesson in how to read the ingredient list is also included. Supermarket tours are not available all regions. Check your copy of Against the Grain for tour dates.

Quarterly publications:
The Australian Coeliac – 64 full colour magazine filled with new products, articles and recipes
Against the Grain – 16 page newsletter covering what is happening in Queensland.

Professional members

Professional membership is open to health professionals, gluten free food manufacturers, restaurants, chefs, caterers and retailers. Keep up to date with the latest information on catering gluten free.
